"THIS IS THE SHOW TO SEE!
Non-stop action and fun! All original songs, lots of laughs,
clever lyrics, jokes-within-jokes and a terrific, talented,
energetic and explosive cast!
All three lovable performers bounce around the stage as the show unfolds - with zany costume changes that include wandering mustaches and a mermaid costume direct from a Chicken of the Sea commercial. The show is non-stop action and fun, and at times you will swear there are 6 people performing, not just three!"
- Stu Hamstra, Cabaret Hotline Online

"Fresh, fast, fun and funny, a modern version of the intimate topical musical reviews that lit up New York’s nightlife in grander days, What’s the Point? is a must-be-there destination for cabaret-goers. With a three-person cast — Hector Coris, Patrick Garrigan and Eadie Scott — zooming in and out from backstage and positioning themselves in solos, duets and trios, the evening merrily takes on such subjects as vampires, cell phones, the zoo, romance, straight and gay relationships, and more. The show consists of more than twenty musical numbers, all with original music by Alan Cancelino and well pianoed by Joe Regan; and all of it with witty, sharply crafted, and often moving lyrics by Hector. Susan Haefner, choreographer, and Colette Black, director, make inventive use of the tiny stage and wings at the Reprise Room, bringing the cast back and forth, to and fro, and up and down with a swift yet smooth pace."
- Peter Haas, Cabaret Scenes
"'WHAT'S THE POINT?!' SCORES!
A bubbly and irreverent, fast-paced new musical revue with a gayish sensibility!"

"A DELIGHTFUL WAY TO SPEND AN HOUR!
Hector Coris and Alan Cancelino’s new revue, What’s The Point?! is an hommage to the topical revues that used to flourish all over New York in theatres little and big in an era before television co-opted and forever altered the form.  The subject matter has changed since the days when Comden & Green skewered then-contemporary cultural icons at the Village Vanguard, but the approach—broad, silly, sweet-natured, without a trace of tiresome hipster irony—is refreshingly old-fashioned: a Harvey Wallbanger of a show, not a green-tea-and-pomegranate Cosmo.

Each member of the enthusiastic little cast gets his or her moment to shine: Eadie Scott displayed Liza Minnelli—like chops in 'A Real Straight Guy,' an endearing lament about the lack of datable straight men in New York; Patrick Garrigan got a big laugh in the masturbation retrospective, 'I Played With Myself,' and struggled winningly as a 'Straight Guy in a Gay Show;' and lyricist Hector Coris gave dimension to the plight of a nebbishy frequent flier with a crush on a stewardess in 'Flight Attendant,' and deftly satirized American Idol in 'My Moment' with a well-chosen handful of vocal and physical gestures.

Cancelino’s music served the amusing lyrics, in a range of appropriate styles—the sprightly 'That’s Why We Love The Zoo' could have been lifted straight from a 1950s variety show, complete with charming choreography executed by Coris and Garrigan; 'E.Harmony-Dot-Com' sported humorous Fred Waring harmonies; and the Latin-inflected 'Telenovela' hit exactly the right note."

A new original musical comedy revue
WHAT’S THE POINT?!
from the award-winning* writer of the hit revue What’s Your Problem?!
to play a limited engagement at The Reprise Room -
February 18 – March 31, 2008!

Award-winning* writer and performer Hector Coris follows up his acclaimed 2005 revue, What’s Your Problem?! with a brand new
musical comedy revue entitled What’s The Point?! with original music by Alan Cancelino.

It’s about gay animals, prescription drugs, vampires…you know…life!

What’s The Point?! is a loving throwback to the irreverent West Village revues of the late 1950’s and 1960’s, which took pointed shots
at the conditions of society and commented on popular trends. Like its predecessor, What’s Your Problem?!, this revue was crafted from
a slightly gay perspective, but the truths are all universal. Featuring songs like “You Wouldn’t Know It To Look At Me”, “How Can I Miss
You (If You Won’t Go Away)”, “A Baby Like That”, “A Real Straight Guy” and “That’s Why We Love the Zoo”, the show pokes fun at cell
phone junkies, Upper West Side parenting, prescription pharmaceuticals, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, on-line dating, Speaker of the
House, Nancy Pelosi – among a myriad of other random but relevant topics.

Performances begin Monday, February 18th, 2008 at 7:00PM and continue every Monday night at 7:00PM through March 31st at
The Reprise Room (245 West 54 Street, NYC – http://www.dillonslounge.com.) Tickets are $15 plus a $15 food/drink minimum and are
available through the show’s website at www.WTPOINT.com. Tickets must be purchased in advance through the show’s website. Tickets
may also be paid in cash at the door. Reservations may also be made on the website or by calling (347) 678-8054. A full dinner menu is
available for pre-show dining. The show is produced by Hector Coris with direction by Collette Black and choreography by Susan Haefner
(Broadway’s Thoroughly Modern Millie, 42nd Street). The show will be performed by Hector Coris, Patrick Garrigan and Eadie Scott.
The show’s musical director will be Joe Regan.
