HECTOR CORIS (Lyricist/Performer) is an award winning writer and performer who has appeared on nearly every cabaret stage in NYC. In 2005, he debuted his first original musical revue (written with Paul L. Johnson), What's Your Problem?! - which won major acclaim and several major awards including Best Musical in both the 2005 Fresh Fruit Festival and the Montreal Harvest International LGBT Theatre Festival in 2006. He is also the recipient of the Jeff Matson Award (given by Cabaret Hotline Online) for his outstanding contributions to cabaret. Hector proudly serves on the Board of Directors of MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs). PATRICK GARRIGAN (Performer) loves doin' them skits! After graduating from Syracuse University, he appeared in the National Tour of Titanic. In New York, he's appeared at the York Theatre Company, Joe's Pub & Snug Harbor Music Hall. Regionally, he's been kicked around as LeFou in Beauty & the Beast (TOTS & WVPT), hung from the rafters as Bat Boy in Bat Boy: The Musical, and washed himself as Munkustrap in Cats, among others. EADIE SCOTT (Performer). Eadie recently played Maria in Improbable Fiction's Twelfth Night. She made her feature film debut as Peggy in Abscond Valley (A&RT Prods). New York credits include: What in the World: The Newsical (John Houseman); Jonestown, the Musical (fringe 2005); Voice of the City (York) and numerous appearances at Town Hall as a featured vocalist. Regional credits include Evita (Walnut Street Theatre), The Pirates of Penzance (Pittsburgh Public Theater), A Christmas Carol and My Fair Lady (GeVa Theater). Some favorite roles include Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly!, Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret, and Blanche in Brighton Beach Memoirs. Eadie has received awards for her solo cabaret acts. She is delighted to be working with Hector and Collette again. | |
| ALAN CANCELINO (Composer/Musical Director) is a NYC-based composer working in many styles of music. In collaboration with Jenne Wason, his recent shows include Bingo City or Bust, developed in the BMI Musical Theater Workshop under moderator Maury Yeston and featured in a NYMF 2005 showcase directed by Leigh Silverman and the daring new musical drama The White Rose which had readings and workshops under the direction of Leah C. Gardiner at The Public Theater in NYC, Wright State University in Ohio, and presented in concert form at NYMF 2004. He composed music for the plays Party Lines by Winter Miller which premiered in the 2006 Ignite Festival in NYC and Kansas Faust by Anne Phelan. In early 2007, he scored the Japanese film Sight Unseen. He is working on a CD of original ballads and a collection of piano and ensemble pieces. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild and an alumnus of the Lehman Engel Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop at BMI. | ||
| COLLETTE BLACK (Director) has received numerous awards and citations for excellence in various fields of cabaret including The Manhattan Association of Cabaret (MAC), The Nightlife Award, Backstage Bistro Award, Cabaret Hotline, and Time Out New York. Her Off-Broadway directing credits include Take It Easy at The Judith Anderson Theatre, What in the World?: The Newsical Revue at The John Houseman Theatre, and Our Life & Times at Caroline's on Broadway. Other favorite directing credits include What's Your Problem? by Hector Coris and Paul L. Johnson and Eadie Scott's Wished on the Moon: A Tribute to Dorothy Parker. Collette produced the 20th anniversary production of Eve Merriam's The Club and co-produced All the News Un-fit to Print at The Tropicana in Atlantic City. Collette serves as cabaret class instructor at the 92nd Street Y. | ||
| SUSAN HAEFNER (Choreographer). As a performer, Susan has appeared on Broadway in 42nd Street, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and State Fair. Other credits include Damn Yankees with Jerry Lewis (National Tour/West End) and The It Girl (Off-Broadway). She has worked regionally at La Jolla Playhouse, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Asolo State Theatre, Geva Theatre, and Weston Playhouse. Susan is also on staff at Encorp Theatre School and The Studio New Canaan as a choreographer and teacher. She is founder of Living Room Arts, a company which presents performing arts in intimate spaces. | ||
| JOE REGAN (Musical Director). Joe Regan is a pianist/singer who plays for piano bars, cabaret rooms, corporate events and private parties in the New York Area. He has been Musical Director for individual and group cabaret shows, revues and benefit performances. He has played in the pit for several Off-Broadway shows, and has opened for Steve Ross at the 75th Anniversary of the Chrysler Building.
